Google ආයතනය Street View තාක්ෂණයෙන් දැනට වසර 10 ක සිට ලොව පුරා ඡායාරූප මිලියන ගණනක් ගෙන ඇත. මේ විදියට ඔවුන් ඡායාරූප ගනිමින් ලොව පුරා ඇති මාර්ගවල ගමන් කිරිමේදී ඔවුන්ගේ කැමරාවට හසුවු විවිධ ආකාරයේ ඡායාරූප එකතුවක් අන්තර්ජාලයට එකතුවී තිබෙනවා.
